Get your guns up! Go Tech!!!

Well, we had a great weekend! Texas Tech beat Oklahoma State!!! The boys got to stay up and watch the game for a bit. Mimi, Papa Squee and Uncle Trey (in his #2 Jersey) came over and we had hamburgers and watched the game. Hayden had to read us Captain Underpants during the game and I think Mimi and I were the only ones really listening. He kept asking raise your hand if you want to see this funny picture. Mimi and I would raise our hands while, Jesse, Nate, Papa Squee and Uncle Trey just watched the game. He finally said "Okay all the girls raise your hand if you want to see". Unfortunately, Roxy and Maddie didn't raise their paws.
This morning Hayden wanted to wear his Texas Tech tattoo to school to show his teacher. Mrs. Barr, his Kindergarten teacher, is a huge OSU fan. I didn't have time to get the tattoo on and didn't want to rub it in to bad. Hopefully, Hayden won't rub it in too bad, either.

Lost Creek Streaker

Well, we have a streaker in the family. Hayden, Nate and I went to a Moms Club event at Lost Creek Park. We were all having a great afternoon. Hayden was playing football with some older kids and Nate was chasing them around with no shirt or shoes. This attire is very typical of Nate. So, I am visiting with the other Moms and we decide it is time to leave. I look over to tell Hayden and Nate 5 minutes and Nate is taking his pants off. I head that way and yell back to the other Moms, we might have a streaker or he is going to go potty. I look back to Nate and yes he is streaking around the park. So I apologize to my friends and other residents of Lost Creek Subdivision. I so wish I had a camera or video camera. I had to laugh inside and of course be stern and tell Nate that we cannot so this.

Halloween 2008

Okay, here it goes my first blog. Hayden, Nate and I started off the afternoon joining our neighbors, Ginger, Carson and Jonah outside. Ginger was putting spider webs in her bushes. The boys were running around excited about trick or treating. Mimi and Aunt Kelly came over and they made mummy hot dogs. Boy, they were yummy! Everyone had there mummy hot dogs and Ginger and I decided we should all go inside and rest before Daddys got home to take them trick or treating. Well, Hayden went over to get a toy inside Ginger's house and slip in the door way and hit his head on the door frame. Ginger brought him over and I decided to take him in. So, Mimi, Hayden and I got in the car and called Jesse to meet us at Acute Care. It was a quick visit (less than 20 minutes). Hayden ended up with 3 staples in the back of his head and we were back in time to get our Darth Vader bucket and walked out to meet everyone to trick or treat.

Mimi, Aunt Kelly, Ginger, Creed and I sat out front and handed out candy. Hayden had a great time and came home with lots of candy. Nate evidently stood on the sidewalk with Daddy, but did enjoy himself. After trick or treating we all hung out outside and visited and the kids played. It was wonderful evening!
