Hayden's playing basketball!!

Hayden has started playing basketball this year with Upward through our church. His good buddy Aidan is on the team. Aidan's dad is the Coach. He is really enjoying himself and getting better with each practice. He is all about getting the ball at practice but not so much during the game. We are working on that! Nate is good friends with Aidan's sister Brianna and they enjoyed the practice as you see above, playing footsy.

My Birthday!

Hayden and I enjoyed my birthday with our friends from Round Rock. The above pics are of Baker and Hayden and Mallory and me. Mallory and Baker drove up from Round Rock and we celebrated with dinner at Snuffers!!!! It was so yummy and fun!

Christmas 2008 (I know I'm a little behind!!)

We had a great Christmas this year. Mimi, Papa Squee, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Trey, Cousin Clay and Taylor, Roxie, Millie and Lulu all spent the night with us and helped us celebrate Santa. We had a lot of fun and laughs. Here is a picture of each one with a gift. Hayden received a Star Wars lego ship from Santa and it was a big hit! Thank goodness since it took Santa and Mrs. Claus 8 hours to put together (over a 1,000 pieces). Nate received Geo trax from Santa but was a more interested in the spaceship. But then opened the Batman Cave and was very impressed with it. After Santa, we hosted Christmas brunch with the Millikens, Hodges, Kniffens and Uncle Joe. It was delicious. Everyone went their own way and then spent an evening at the Milliken's house with extended family and friends. It was delicious too! Lisa and I took over each of our Mom's wonderful tradition and I think it went well!

Sorry it took so long to update.

Santa's workshop in Richardson, TX

Aunt Kelly and Mimi took the boys and cousin Colin to the Santa's workshop on Friday night. they had a blast, visiting with Santa and seeing him come in on a Fire Truck! They went through some of the houses and got reindeer food and balloon sword. They (Hayden and Colin) got their noses painted red to be like Rudolph. The weather was great, which is a good thing since it is freezing now. Nate once again wouldn't have his picture taken!

Thanks Aunt Kelly and Mimi!!!

SpiderMonkeys in the Allen X-mas Parade

Jesse and Hayden's Adventure guides tribe was in the Allen X-mas parade today. They are having a great time being apart of this organization! They worked on their float on Friday night with their tribe and another tribe the Tomahawks (which were 1st graders). Both tribes did a great job on the float and all had a wonderful time in the parade. Jesse and Hayden had a great turnout of fans.

Thank you, Mimi, Papa Squee, Aunt Kelly, Suzanne, Kerry, Paul, Ani and Thomas! Hayden loved have all of you there to support him.

Santa with Mimi and Aunt Kelly

Mimi took Hayden, Nate, Grace and Colin to see Santa on Saturday. Everyone had a great time as you can see, but Nate wasn't at all going to get his picture taken. He is not fond of the camera. They were able to have cookies and goodies and do a gingerbread craft. Thanks Mimi, for a great time!

Thanksgiving in Haslet

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Kniffen. Uncle Joey and Uncle Will were great with the kids. They played football, legos, bionicles and watched movies. The boys love it and boy do they love their Uncle Will and Uncle Joey.
Jesse took on the After Thanksgiving shopping at Walmart (5am) and Target (6am) and we were able to get a few gifts! He said it was absolutely crazy out there.
